Terms Of Service
Version 1.0 — draft, pending review
These terms cover your use of Kodavara Render ("Render"), operated by
Kodavara. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Render does
Render assigns identifiers to work items in your ClickUp workspace, records
what it assigned, optionally generates documents from templates you supply,
writes results back to ClickUp, and can publish a verification page for a
generated record.
Render is a separate product from other Kodavara applications. A licence for
Render does not include any other Kodavara product, and none is required to
use it.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping
your credentials secure, and for the actions taken through your account.
Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without your
authorisation.
You must verify your email address before connecting a workspace.
3. Your workspace and your data
You keep ownership of everything you connect, upload or generate: your
ClickUp data, your templates, and the documents Render produces from them.
You grant us only the access needed to operate the service — to read the
parts of your workspace you point Render at, to write back the values you
configure it to write, and to store what it generates.
We write only what you configure. Render does not change a value in your
workspace unless a rule you created tells it to, and each such rule declares
whether it may overwrite an existing value.
4. Identifiers and records
Numbers are allocated in the order they are requested and are not reused. If
you void an assignment, that identifier is retired by default rather than
returned to the pool, so a voided number cannot later refer to something
else. Gaps in a series are therefore expected and are a property of the
audit trail, not a fault.
Render is a record of what it assigned and generated. It is not a registry
of legal, professional or regulatory standing, and a verification page states
only what our records show.
5. Verification pages
Where you enable it, a generated record may be verified through a public link
containing a random identifier. Anyone holding that link can see the facts
you chose to publish. You control whether a record is public, and you can
revoke, expire or supersede it at any time; the page then says so.
Publishing a verification page is your decision and your responsibility.
Do not publish personal information you are not entitled to publish.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Render to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to issue
documents that misrepresent their origin or authority, or to interfere with
the service or other customers. Do not attempt to reach another customer's
data.
You must also comply with ClickUp's own terms for the workspace you connect.
7. Plans, limits and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose. Each plan carries
limits, which are shown in the application and enforced as configured.
Reaching a limit stops new work of that kind; it never deletes work already
done, and we do not add automatic overage charges.
Prices may change with notice. A change never applies to a period you have
already paid for.
8. Trials
A trial gives you the product for a limited period at no cost and without a
card. One trial per person. When it ends, work stops and your configuration
is kept for 30 days, after which the account becomes eligible for data
removal. We email you before that happens, and choosing a plan at any point
before removal keeps everything.
9. Availability
We aim for continuous availability and do not promise it. Maintenance,
provider outages and rate limits imposed by ClickUp can all interrupt
processing. Work that cannot be completed is retried where retrying is safe.
10. Retention and deletion
Generated files are kept for the retention period your plan specifies and are
then deleted. The record of what was assigned — the identifier, when, to
what, and its current status — is not deleted by retention, because a
document that can no longer be verified is worse than one that never existed.
You can ask us to delete your account and its data. We record the request,
act on it within our stated policy window, and keep only what we must for
legal and accounting reasons.
11. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time; the service continues to the end of the period
you have paid for. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these
terms, that goes unpaid after notice, or where required by law.
Anything Render wrote into your ClickUp workspace stays in your workspace.
It is ordinary ClickUp content — tasks, fields, comments and attachments —
and it remains usable without Render.
12. Liability
Render is provided as-is to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not
liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be
excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months
before the claim.
You remain responsible for checking that what Render produces is correct for
your purpose before you rely on it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may publish a new version of these terms. Existing accounts keep the
version they accepted until they accept a newer one. Every acceptance is
recorded with the exact text that was shown.
